Dream of Africa Bush Lodge is privately run by Neil and Val Card and offers luxurious accommodation within 500 meters from the banks of the Kruger National Park.
Nestled in the heart of Marloth Park, the bush lodge is surrounded by wild park land where the animals roam freely. The lodge is situated above a large watering hole which attracts a large number of game and is home to our resident crocodile "Charlie".
The lodge is perfectly situated between the Crocodile Bridge and Malelane gates to the Kruger National Park. The lodge is the perfect base camp for day trips into the park with a 20 minute drive from the lodge to the park.
The Dream of Africa Bush Lodge is the perfect place for you to relax, unwind and enjoy the sounds, sights and smells of nature.
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast is available on request. Rooms can be booked with a breakfast option. Breakfast is served between 7am and 10am
The lodge is equipped with Free WiFi throughout the premises and also offers streaming facilities on flat screen TV's in each room.
Marloth Park is a wild nature reserve that borders the Kruger National Park. There is an abundance of wildlife surrounding the lodge.
Rooms will be cleaned and cleared on request. Self-Catering Guests can arrange for a cleaning service at an additional charge.
The lodge boasts an outdoor pool with a breath-taking view out into the bush and over the watering hole.
OUR ROOMS
Our Standard King Suite are furnished with the same luxurious style as our Deluxe King Suites. The only difference is that they do not have the private patio and bush view. Our Standard King Suites do have their own private braai area and guests can still enjoy access to the main lodge lounge, veranda and pool area.
Our Deluxe King Suite boasts a Super King Bed with an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath. Each room is equipped with free Wi-Fi, ceiling fan and air conditioning. Enjoy the bush view overlooking the watering hole from your private patio with two-day beds and private dining area.
THINGS TO DO
The Dream of Africa Bush Lodge is a 15 minute drive from the Kruger National Park which is perfect for a day trip into the park. Night Drives and sunrise drives are also available in the park.
Bush walks in and around Marloth Park are a popular activity for guests. Join us on a sunrise or sunset walk and experience the African bush on foot.
The Komati River is home to numerous species of fresh water fish, the most famous of these is the Tiger Fish. Half day and Full day trips can be arranged.
With hundreds of different bird species you can enjoy bird watching from the comfort of the lodge veranda or out in the bush.
Marloth Park has an almost inexhaustible network of dirt roads for the avid mountain biker. We do not have mountain bikes, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
Horse back safaris for beginners & intermediate riders. The horse trails run through the non-big 5 reserve.
